Editor in Chief, Creator and Publishing Director: Irene Kettle

Irene has been an editor and journalist for 31 years and suspects she might have the best contacts book in Essex! Irene started her career as a journalist on the Hertfordshire Mercury Series when newspapers were produced using typewriters and hot metal.

In addition to editing Colchester Connected and CM Connected Irene runs her own PR and marketing consultancy, the imaginatively named Kettle Communications!

Sales Director: Steve Green

Steve is co-founder of the magazine and has a passion for connecting businesses and for all things print related. In addition to finding new business for the diverse range of print and marketing services at Palladian Press, Steve makes it his business to know his customers’ businesses inside out. When he’s not networking Steve is a passionate Colchester United fan and also fronts a well-known punk rock band!

Multimedia and Communications: Linda Green

Linda is the co-founder and original writer and publisher of Colchester Connected, who alongside Steve created the magazine and associated networking breakfast events to initiate strong business connections as well as promote and encourage excellence and integrity within the local business community. An avid communicator, with a background in all things media related, Linda has extensive experience within the publishing, editorial, design, printing, advertising, sales & marketing and multimedia sectors. She is currently studying History and Archaeology and working alongside a renowned international architect penning a collection of guides on English architecture, another of her passions.

Audio Visual: Nexus

Nexus Audio Visual was formed four years ago by two event technicians who between them have more than 30 years’ experience in the corporate market.  Nexus are Colchester and CM Connected’s preferred AV company and over the years have handled everything thrown at them – from seminars and meetings to show-stopping events and, of course, our monthly networking breakfasts. Nexus are in the business of corporate events; AGMs, charity balls, award nights, staff presentations and breakfast meetings.  They have been responsible for staging some very high profile events for clients including Siemens, Archant (including the Essex Tourism Awards) Greene King and East of England Co-op.  Jamie and Paul prefer to work in partnership with event organisers to ensure that the end result exceeds expectations. The key to a stress free event is detailed planning and Nexus endeavor to become involved at the event’s conception.
